Wednesday, February 22 is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 🎉🚌👏
With more than 420 square miles in the school district, our bus drivers travel hundreds of thousands of miles each year to get our students safely transported to and from school. 🙌🏫
To all our dedicated bus drivers, we want to say a big THANK YOU for everything you do. Your commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is truly valued and appreciated. 🙏❤️

Due to potential winter storms rolling in today, all McDonald County Schools will release early at 12:50 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 24 to ensure the safety of our students being transported home. Also all games are cancelled tonight.

Good morning! Friendly reminder our AMS Leadership Team is providing breakfast for Veterans and their families this morning from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Our Veterans Day Assembly will begin at 8:30. Thank you to all that have served!

Attention Anderson Middle School Parents:
Today your student(s) received a letter regarding tutoring opportunities. This tutoring program gives children at our school extra opportunities to improve their skills. The goal of these tutoring sessions is to help your child to become a skilled and confident student. We highly recommend students that currently have grades below a "C" in Mathematics, English, Science, or Social Studies attend.
Tutoring sessions begin today October 4, 2022 and go from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. Unfortunately, transportation is not provided.

Great first day of school at AMS! We were so excited to see all your kiddos. A few notes regarding after school pickup. We ran later than usual today as we were working to make sure all our students were on the correct bus. Normally we will release our car riders around 3:15 starting with 6th grade. All 6th grade students and siblings will be picked up in front of the school. 7th and 8th will be picked up in the East Parking lot. For the safety of all, please leave the front row by the gymnasium open. Thank you for your patience and for sharing your child with us. Have a great night! -Mr Gray

Students remaining end of the year trip reminder: *6th grade will travel to Wonders of Wildlife in Springfield on this Friday. Lunches have been order for those students that requested and students are also allowed to bring their lunch. *University of Arkansas Talent Search will travel to U of A on Thursday, May 19th. Lunch is provided.
