Good evening, Mustang Nation! Due to inclement weather and unsafe travel conditions, MCR1 Schools will be closed Thursday, February 11 and Friday, February 12.
Thursday, February 11 will be an AMI day. Teachers will provide online learning opportunities. This day will not be made up.
Friday, February 12 will be a snow day. This day will be made up on April 5.
Missouri legislators passed Section 171.033, RSMo which permits schools to implement AMI for up to 36 hours during emergency school closures rather than make up missed hours with a calendar amendment. We will have exhausted those 36 hours with Thursday's cancelation. Therefore, all emergency closures after Thursday will be traditional cancelation days and will be made up with a calendar amendment.

We are gearing up for youth archery season! Archery is a great skill for our Mustangs. It promotes goal setting, growth mindset, concentration, fine motor skills, and sportsmanship! Archery even strengthens real-life understanding of physical science! #MCR1Pride
