McDonald County Schools Offering Free Summer Weekend Meals for Children
McDonald County Schools, in partnership with OPAA!, is pleased to announce the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Weekend Meals Program for June 2026.
The program is designed to help ensure children have access to nutritious meals over the weekend while attending summer school. Eligible children from birth through age 18 can receive meal packages containing two breakfasts and one lunch each week.
Meal distribution will take place curbside on the following Fridays:
June 5
June 12
June 19
June 26
Meals may be picked up at one of the following locations:
Noel Elementary School
White Rock Elementary School
McDonald County High School
There are no income requirements to participate in this program. Any child ages 0-18 is eligible, including children of district staff and families who are not enrolled in summer school.
Parents or guardians must register their children in advance using the online registration form. At pickup, parents or guardians will be asked to verify the names and number of children registered.
McDonald County Schools and OPAA! are proud to partner together to provide this valuable resource for local families and help ensure children have access to healthy meals throughout the summer.
