Lighting Up Learning in 6th Grade English!
Students in Mrs. Fisher’s 6th-grade English classes at Noel Elementary recently experienced a one-of-a-kind lesson that lit up the classroom...literally! For this unique Glo ELA activity, the lights were turned off, and black lights brought out the neon colors and glow sticks scattered around the room. ✨
The students were challenged to create complete sentences on colorful paper, practicing grammar in a way that was both fun and visually engaging. They also wrote a single word on fluorescent green paper to describe their day, adding a personal touch to the glowing lesson.
Activities like this keep students engaged, encourage creative thinking, and help them focus on language skills in an entirely new way. At McDonald County Schools, we’re proud to have teachers like Mrs. Fisher who make learning exciting, hands-on, and unforgettable! 🌟
