McDonald County Schools is proud to announce that longtime bus driver Chuck Schuler has been named the first-ever recipient of the Bob Parish Bus Driver of the Year Award for the 2024-2025 school year.
The award was presented during this month’s school board meeting by Alicia Parish, the wife of the late Bob Parish, a beloved bus driver who dedicated his life to safely transporting generations of McDonald County students. The award was established to honor his legacy and to recognize the dedication, professionalism, and care demonstrated by the district’s bus drivers.
Chuck Schuler is a well-known and highly respected member of the McDonald County transportation team. Over the years, he has safely driven hundreds of thousands of miles, transporting students to and from school, sporting events, and field trips across the region and beyond. But more than his mileage, it’s the lasting relationships and trust he’s built with students, families, and staff that truly define his impact.
McDonald County Schools extends its heartfelt thanks to Chuck Schuler and to all of the district’s bus drivers for the vital role they play in ensuring students arrive safely and ready to learn each day.
