The McDonald County High School Carpentry program is proud to announce that its second annual tiny house auction is now live. Following the incredible success of last year's inaugural build, this year's class of talented student builders has once again crafted a beautiful, high-quality tiny home, which is now available for public bidding.
The auction, which began on Friday, June 6, is already underway, with proceeds directly supporting the future of the hands-on learning program.
Building on last year's foundation, this year's 12' x 24' home introduces a brand-new design feature: a charming and spacious 12' x 4' front porch, adding curb appeal and a welcoming space for outdoor living. The home's interior is thoughtfully designed to maximize space and functionality.
Key features of the 2025 tiny house include:
A dedicated kitchen area with space for a refrigerator and stove.
A full bathroom complete with a shower.
Convenient hookups for a washer and dryer.
Durable, modern vinyl flooring.
Two spacious lofts, perfect for bedrooms, storage, or flexible living space.
In a special nod to the school's heritage, all the interior trim is skillfully crafted from the original bleachers of the McDonald County High School gymnasium. This unique detail means the future owner will possess a true piece of Mustang history.
