As families begin preparing for the new school year, McDonald County Schools has released its 2026-2027 district-wide school supply list for students in Early Childhood through 8th Grade.
Parents are encouraged to review this year's list carefully before shopping, as a few items have changed from last year's supply list.
The district uses a single, general supply list for all elementary and middle schools. While the list covers the basic supplies students will need to begin the school year, some schools or individual teachers may request a few additional classroom-specific items after classes begin.
The district also reminds families that many school supplies, such as pencils, glue sticks, tissues, and notebooks, may need to be replenished throughout the school year. Donations of extra supplies are always appreciated and help support classrooms across the district.
Families with questions about specific supply needs are encouraged to contact their child's school office beginning Monday.
