Critical Need Areas

Critical Need Areas have been established for the 2016-2017school year.

  • Secondary Math (Masters Degree)
  • Special Education

 

Staff members interested in this position must apply to the Superintendent to be considered for the position.  The application is a letter written to the Superintendent requesting tuition reimbursement for classes toward a critical need area.

Priority will be given to tenured teachers.  If a teacher is approved, the teacher must submit a Critical Need Reimbursement Form to the PDC prior to completion of classes.  Payment to the teacher will be made after grades and receipt have been submitted to PDC.  Up to $1000.00 ($80.00 per credit hour) will be paid per calendar year for tuition costs.  You must sign a letter of committment to receive reimbursement.
